A Living Smart course will be most effective if delivered through a partnership. It may involve a local learning centre to host, local practitioners and educators to co-present and the local Council to facilitate the partnership and pull together funding and media for the program. Through partnerships, workloads are shared, a higher skills base is engaged and there is a greater likelihood for the program to evolve and prosper in the long term.

The How to Host guide gives you details on how to set up the program, create partnerships with learning centres and community groups, and run Living Smart program in different delivery styles and schedules to suit your community .

We also supply a decision checklist to help you run the program, evaluate it through feedback forms and stimulate ideas and actions to keep people engaged in the program. Training session plans for new facilitators are also provided with supporting notes.
